Why This List Looks Long

Vanuatu’s programme is regulated, and the document set protects both you and the Citizenship Commission of Vanuatu. The list is comprehensive on purpose — but it is also predictable, and most of what is needed is already in your filing cabinet.

Three things are worth knowing before you scroll further:

    You likely have 80% already

    Most clients already have 80% of these documents. The remaining 20% are usually a police clearance, a medical certificate, and one or two certified copies — straightforward to obtain.

Documents Required for Every Person on the Application

The same set applies whether you choose DSP or CIIP — the programmes differ only in their process, shown further down.

  • Passport

    Good-quality scanned colour copies, certified by a notary public. Required for every member of the application.

  • Identity card or driver’s licence

    Good-quality scanned copies, certified by a notary public. Required for every member of the application.

    Good-quality scanned colour copies, certified by a notary public. Required for every member of the application.

  • Police clearance

    From your country of origin and country of residence (if different). Certified by a notary public. Required for every member of the application aged 12 and over.

  • CV or Personal Profile Form

    Required for every family member aged 18 and over.

    You provide

  • Marriage certificate

    Good-quality scanned colour copies, certified by a notary public. Required for any married couple or family application.

  • Nomination Form

    Stanford Knight prepares this for you. You sign and witness.

  • Medical certificate

    Statement from a GP or medical practice confirming you are in good health. Sample certificate available on request.

    You provide

  • Passport photo

    JPEG or PNG meeting standard passport photo requirements.

    You provide

  • Asset Report Form

    Provided by Stanford Knight. We prepare the form and walk you through completing it.

    SKP prepares

  • Supporting asset statement

    Proof of the assets listed on your Asset Report — bank statement, investment statement, property valuation, share / stock holdings, crypto wallet, etc.

    You provide

  • Employment certification

    Employer’s statement of your employment. If self-employed, a statement of self-employment certified by a notary public.

    You provide

  • Bank reference

    May be issued by any bank worldwide, within 12 months of issue.

    You provide

  • Professional reference

    Statement from a colleague, client, or professional acquaintance regarding your professional conduct.

    You provide

  • Academic certification

    If applicable — undergraduate degree, postgraduate degree, doctorate, or professional certificate.

  • Utilities account

    A utilities document (power, gas, etc.) showing proof of residential address.

From pre-screening to passport

    Execution of the Service Agreement and collection of due diligence documents

    Due diligence check performed by the Vanuatu Government

    Pre-approval — confirmation of due diligence clearance received

  5. 5

    Collection of full citizenship application documents and submission to the Citizenship Commission, with 25% fee payment
