For UAE residents
Expatriate professionals and business owners in the Emirates tend to arrive at the same question. What happens to my mobility if my residency here ends?
A second passport that is not tied to the Gulf
Residency here depends on a visa, and a visa depends on employment or investment. Vanuatu citizenship is permanent, hereditary, and answers to nobody but you.
No personal income tax, in either place
Vanuatu levies no personal income tax, no capital gains tax, no inheritance tax and no wealth tax. For UAE residents already outside an income tax net, it keeps that structure intact on a second nationality.
Travel that does not depend on your current passport
Visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to more than 100 countries and territories, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Russia and the Commonwealth.
Processed while you stay in the Emirates
No residency requirement, no interview and no obligation to travel to Vanuatu. The oath can be administered remotely, so nothing interrupts your work here.
